KEC International, an Indian EPC firm, has secured new orders worth Rs 1,042 crore. The company’s railway business has entered the global market by securing its first international order for a Signaling & Telecommunication project within the SAARC region.
In the civil business, KEC International has received an order from a reputed steel player in India in the Metals & Mining segment.
The Transmission & Distribution (T&D) category has brought in orders from projects in India, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas, including overhead Transmission line setup in the Middle East and tower supply in India, Europe, and the United States.
KEC’s subsidiary, SAE Tower, has secured orders for tower, hardware, and pole supply in the Americas.
The company has also received orders for various cables in India and overseas. The company did not disclose the monetary value of the orders. KEC International aims to expand its footprint globally and diversify its tower sales business geographically.
The company’s managing director and CEO, Vimal Kejriwal, expressed satisfaction with the new order wins and emphasized the railway business’s international expansion, civil business growth, and the first tower supply order from Europe.
