Kotak Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “index category”, named as Kotak Nifty Financial Services Ex-Bank Index Fund. This open-ended fund aims to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in in stocks comprising the underlying index and endeavours to track the benchmark index.
Investment strategy: The Scheme aims to provide an investment vehicle with the composition of the Nifty Financial Services Ex-Bank Index and to generate returns that are commensurate with the performance of the Nifty Financial Services Ex-Bank Index, subject to tracking errors.
Asset allocation: The Scheme will invest in equity and equity-related securities lying under Nifty Financial Services Ex-Bank Index.

Investors with very high risk appetite and want to invest for 5 to 7 years in a mutual fund should invest in Kotak Nifty Financial Services Ex-Bank Index Fund.
Risk associated: Very high level of risk.

The NFO is available for subscription from July 24 to Aug 7. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5000/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
