Lemon Tree Hotels signs new hotel in Hubli, Karnataka

Lemon Tree Hotels has unveiled its newest addition: the Lemon Tree Hotel in Hubli, Karnataka. Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a subsidiary, and management arm of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited will operate this hotel, which is planned to open in May 2023.

This hotel will have 65 well-appointed rooms, as well as a restaurant, bar, spa, swimming pool, fitness centre, and conference space.

Hubli, located in the Dharwad District, is one of Karnataka’s commercial centres. Cotton and peanuts are abundant here and are traded across the country, adding to the country’s economy.

Unkal Lake, a lovely body of water in Hubli, provides a variety of recreational activities such as boating, bird viewing, and more. Further, as a center of attraction, every year, millions of Lord Shiva worshippers visit Chandramouleshwara, a well-known Shiva temple.

Speaking on the occasion Mahesh Aiyer, CEO – Carnation Hotels Private Limited – commented, “We are pleased to expand our reach in Karnataka with our valued partner, HRK Hospitality. We intend to extend and diversify our existing portfolio by signing and establishing new hotels in order to broaden our offers to our guests as well as owners and partners in the tourist and hospitality industries.”

He further added that this will be the seventh property signed by the company in Karnataka.

At around 9.22 AM, Lemon Tree Hotels was trading at Rs68 up by Rs0.5 or 0.74% from its previous closing of Rs67.50 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs68.70.
