LIC increases stake in Capri Global Capital to 5.04%; Stock trades higher

Capri Global Capital stock traded higher on Wednesday. The stock has been in focus after the largest insurer in India, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) increased its stake in the company by a certain percentage.

Through open market purchase, LIC bought 1.5 lakh equity shares in the company.

The transaction was carried out on February 21, 2022.

With the latest shares purchase, LIC has increased its stake in the company by 0.085% to 5.04%.

Earlier, LIC held about 4.95% of the company.

At around 11.24 AM, the company’s stock traded at Rs596 per piece up by Rs4.65 or 0.79% on BSE. The stock has touched an intraday high and low of Rs600 per piece and Rs594.30 per piece.
