Lupin launches Desvenlafaxine Extended-Release Tablets in US market

Global pharma major Lupin Limited (Lupin) has announced the launch of Desvenlafaxine Extended-Release Tablets, 25 mg, having received an approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

According to the released data, Desvenlafaxine Extended-Release Tablets, 25 mg is a generic equivalent of Pristiq Extended-Release Tablets, 25 mg of PF PRISM C.V.

As per IQVIA MAT June 2022 data, Desvenlafaxine Extended-Release Tablets, 25 mg (RLD Pristiq) had estimated annual sales of USD 14 million in the U.S.

On Monday early morning trade, Lupin Ltd is currently trading at Rs636.75 per share down by Rs16.05 or 2.46% from its previous closing of Rs652.80 per share on the BSE.
