Pharma company, Lupin is set to announce its financial performance for the quarter ending December 2021 (Q3FY22) on February 3, 2022. On Wednesday, Lupin stock traded higher.
At around 12.08 pm, Lupin was trading at Rs947.65 per piece up by 0.5% on Sensex. The stock has touched an intraday high and low of Rs951 per piece and Rs933.80 per piece respectively.
In September 2021 quarter, Lupin logged a consolidated net loss of Rs2,094.9cr. The company had posted a profit of Rs213.1cr in Q2FY21 and Rs548cr in Q1FY22. Further, the company’s total revenue from operations was at Rs4,091.3cr in Q2FY22 rising by 6.7% yoy but declining by 4.2% sequentially.
During the Q2 quarter, the company booked a provision of Rs1,879.6cr (including Rs38.7cr towards litigation and settlement related expenses) under Glumetza class actions towards business compensation expenses based on the agreement to settle the dispute with two plaintiff groups as well as Impairment expense of Rs707.7cr for Solosec.
