Mahindra & Mahindra records total sales of 56,677 units in December

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., one of India’s leading automotive companies, announced today that its total auto sales in December 2022 were 56,677 vehicles.

Mahindra sold 28,333 vehicles in the Utility Vehicles segment in December 2022, up by 62% yoy against 17,469 units in December 2021.

In the Passenger Vehicles segment (which includes UVs, Cars, and Vans) it sold 28,445 vehicles, as compared to 17,722 units in December 2021, registering growth of 61% yoy.

The exports during the month totalled 3,100 vehicles, up by 3% yoy as compared to 3017 units in the same month previous year. Mahindra sold 20,080 vehicles in the Commercial Vehicles segment in December 2022.

The company stated that it has witnessed 61% growth in passenger vehicles and a 45% overall growth in December 2022.

At around 12.59 PM, Mahindra & Mahindra was trading 0.86% higher at Rs1,259.90, against previous close of Rs1,249.20 on NSE. The counter hit intraday high and low of Rs1,268.40 and Rs1,242.60 respectively.
