Indian equity markets ended the day in green today. Nifty 50 ended, higher by 203.50 points. Sensex ended, up by 721.13 points. Top Gainers today were SBI, IndusInd Bank, Hindalco, Coal India and Bajaj Finserv. Top Losers today were Cipla, Divis Lab, Dr Reddy’s, Nestle and Kotak Bank. Mid-caps, Small-cap, and Micro-cap stocks witnessed buying sentiments from the investors.
Banking, Metal, media followed by IT, FMCG and PSU Banks drove the market sentiments. Except pharma, all other sectoral indices ended in the gree. Adani Enterprises, Reliance were the most active stocks today in terms of trading volume, at NSE.
