Market pulse at 12:30 PM today

• Benchmark indices extended gains on Thursday amid firm global cues. The BSE MidCap and Smallcap indices advanced 0.8 per cent and 1.12 per cent, respectively.
• BSE Sensex is 57,790.23 levels, up 752.73 points or 1.32%.
• Nifty50 is currently 17,332.50, up 199 points or 1.16%. Nifty Bank at 36,570.05.
• India VIX is down 2.36% at 18.23 levels.
• Coal India, Asian Paints, Infosys, RIL and TCS are the top gainers. Tata Steel, JSW Steel, ONGC, Cipla and Nestle are the top losers.
• Nifty auto and IT stocks outperformed by 1% to drive the trade however metals pare early losses to trade flat.
• Out of 50 stocks traded on the NSE, 42 advanced, and 08 declined.
