Markets rise further

Indian equity markets rose further today. The rally was quite steep in the last 30 minutes. Nifty 50 ended, up by 140.30 points. Sensex ended, up by 417.81 points. Top Gainers today were M&M, Hindalco and Grasim. Top Losers today were IndusInd Bank, State Bank of India and HCL Technologies.

All the broader indicies ended in Green today. Midcap stocks saw maximum buying demand.  Auto stocks, Metal stocks, FMCG stocks, and Realty stocks saw some good buying demand today. Profit booking took place in the stocks of PSU banks. Zomato, IRFC, Suzlon were the most traded stocks, in terms of volume, today at NSE. In value terms, VBL, Indian Hotels, and TII India were the most traded stocks today. 

67 stocks touched new 52 week high today at NSE. 25 Stocks touched 52 week low.
