Markets see another day in Green

Indian equity markets saw another day in Green today. Nifty 50 ended, up by 54.15 points. Sensex ended, up by 184.54 points. Top Gainers today were Ultratech Cement, Hindalco and Tata Steel. Top Losers today were UPL, ICICI Bank and Cipla.  Indication given by US Federal Reserve Chairman, yesterday, that the Central bank will become less hawkish regarding interest rate hikes had a positive effect on market sentiments today.
All the broader market indices ended in Green today. Midcap stocks saw the strongest buying demand. FMCG stocks, Pharma stocks, Healthcare stocks, and Oil & Gas stocks, saw some selling pressure today, on account of profit booking. IT stocks, Media stocks, Metal stocks saw strong buying demand today.

IRFC, Suzlon, and PNB were the most active stocks today in terms of trading volume, at NSE. HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Reliance were the most traded stocks in terms of value. 74 stocks touched new 52-week high today, at NSE. 21 stocks touched their 52 week low.
