The company reported a total sale of 1,84,890 units in July 2022 as against 1,70,719 units in July 2021, up by 8.3% on a y-o-y basis.
Company stated that the shortage of electronic components had a minor impact on the production of vehicles during July 2022.
Total Sales reported by the company include Total Passenger Vehicle Sales of 1,79,912 units as against 1,67,825 units in the same month previous year.
Company’s compact segment including Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, WagonR, and OEM Models registered a 12.80% yoy growth in sales at 1,02,193 units in July 2022 as compared to 90,604 units in July 2021. While Alto and S-Presso’s sales declined by 11.82% yoy to 21,957 units against 24,899 in same month previous year.
Utility Vehicles like Brezza, Ertiga, etc., witnessed a marginal increase in sales at 40,247 units in July 2022. Eeco Vans also recorded a high jump in sales in July month.
