Maruti Suzuki said Tuesday that it has increased its efforts to provide loaner vehicles and cab services to customers impacted by Cyclone ‘Michaung’ in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh so that customer mobility is not hampered while vehicles are being repaired.
For speedy response, the business has sent 46 tow trucks from surrounding cities and activated 34 Maruti Road Side Assistance cars. It has also increased spare parts inventory for ready availability, established a pool of qualified staff in adjacent cities from its service workshops, and partnered with insurance businesses for speedier claim processing and settlement for prompt redress of service requests.
Maruti Suzuki stated that it is making every effort to repair and return the afflicted vehicles to customers as soon as possible. To ensure customer mobility is not compromised even when their vehicle is under repair, the company is providing loaner cars. Additionally, it has partnered with cab service providers, the company said in a statement.
Maruti Suzuki proactively sent out 700,000 SMS messages to its consumers with preventative actions to ensure that customers may take cautious measures to protect their automobiles even before the hurricane hit.
Following the storm, the business stated that it is working with its dealer partners and has made multiple preparations at its workshops to expedite any service requests.
