Motilal Oswal Nifty Microcap 250 Index Fund NFO: Everything you need to know

Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “index fund category”, named as Motilal Oswal Nifty Microcap 250 Index Fund. This open-ended fund aims to provide returns that, before expenses, correspond to the total returns of the securities as represented by Nifty Microcap 250 Total Return Index, subject to tracking error.

Investment strategy: The investment strategy would be Passive in nature offering investment returns that are similar to the total returns of Nifty Microcap 250 Total Return Index before fees / expense and subject to tracking error.

Asset allocation: The scheme aims to invest in the constituent of Nifty Microcap 250 Total Return Index, in the range of 95% to 100% and in units of Liquid schemes and/or money market instruments, in the range of 0% to 5%.

Investors with very high risk appetite and want to invest for 7 to 10 years in a mutual fund should invest in Motilal Oswal Nifty Microcap 250 Index Fund.

The NFO is available for subscription from June 15 to June 29. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 500/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
