On July 24, in the afternoon trading session, the stock of RITES surged to a 52-week high of Rs 496.70. This impressive increase came following the announcement of the company securing a substantial order worth Rs 500 crore from Mozambique.
At around 1 pm today, Sensex traded at 66677, facing a 0.03% surge from the previous day’s close. Whereas Nifty traded at 19761.9, an 0.8% increase from the previous day’s session.
Top gainers in the Nifty 50 Index are IndusInd bank (+1.55%), SBI Life (+1.49%), M&M (+1.45%), TataConsum (+1.27%), UltraCemco (+1.27%).
Top losers In the Nifty 50 Index are Kotak Bank (-4.33%), Reliance (-1.37%), Britannia (-1.25%), Tata Steel (-1.16%), JSW Steel (-1.15%)
In terms of sectors, the auto, realty, IT, power, and capital goods indices displayed positive movements, with gains ranging from 0.5 to 1 %. On the other hand, the metal index experienced a slight decline of 0.5 %.
