National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd has announced that the Unit-II of 500 MW of Indira Gandhi Super Thermal Power Project at Jhajjar of Aravali Power Company Pvt. Ltd. (APCPL) a JV of NTPC Ltd., Haryana Power Generation Corporation Ltd. and Indraprastha Power Generation Co. Ltd. has been commissioned on November 05, 2011 at 04:58 PM. With this, the total capacity of NTPC group has become 35,354 MW.
With the coming of Unit-II, the total installed capacity of Indira Gandhi Super Thermal Power Project has become 1,000 MW
