NTPC commissions 56 MW Kawas Solar PV Project in Gujarat; Stock surges 3%

NTPC Limited has informed to the exchanges regarding declaration of COD of third part capacity of 21 MW out of 56 MW Kawas Solar PV Project
As per the filing, consequent upon successful commissioning, third part capacity of 21 MW out of 56 MW Kawas Solar PV Project at Kawas, Gujarat, is declared on Commercial Operation w.e.f. 15.08.2022. Now, the full capacity of 56MW has been commissioned by the company.
“With this commissioning, the standalone installed and commercial capacity of NTPC stood at 55,089 MW, while group installed and commercial capacity of the company has now become 69,454 MW”, the company said.

At around 9:48 AM, NTPC Ltd was trading at Rs163 per share up by Rs4.5 or 2.84% from its previous closing of Rs158.50 per share on the BSE.
