On November 1, Crofarm Agriproducts’ agritech startup Otipy announced the appointment of Rohit Sood as its Chief Business Officer. He will oversee the company’s upcoming phase of growth in both existing and new Indian markets.
The startup said in a release that “he will play a vital role in the development and extension of Otipy’s business verticals, as the company continues to witness growth in specific countries.”
Early this year, Otipy, which is supported by Westbridge Capital, Omidyar Network, SIG, and others, secured $32 million in a series B investment.
Sood has more than 16 years of expertise in setting up and growing businesses at numerous retail and e-commerce organizations, including SPAR, Carrefour, Snapdeal, Paytm Mall, and JioMart.
