PI Industries stock surges 2.5% on launch of new insecticide product

PI Industries Limited stocks rally in the market during Thursday’s morning session after the announcement of product launch by the Company.

At around 9:56 AM, the company was trading at Rs3103.35 per share higher by Rs76.10 or 2.51% on the BSE. Previously, the scrip ended at Rs3027.25 per share on the BSE paltform.

According to the regulatory filing, PI Industries has launched a new product named ‘BROFREYA’ on August 03, 2022. The category of the product is insecticides and it caters to domestic market, the company said.

On Thursday, the scrip opened at Rs3145 per share and hit intraday high at Rs3210.55 per share on the BSE.

Notably, PI Industries is a hollding company and engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of agro chemicals. It operates through Agro Chemicals segment.
