Prices of petrol and diesel on November 7

According to the most recent price notification sent out by fuel retailers, the cost of petrol and diesel remained stable across metro areas on November 7. In Delhi, a liter of petrol or diesel costs Rs96.72 or Rs89.62. Diesel costs Rs94.27, and gasoline costs Rs106.31 a liter in Mumbai. In Chennai, the costs are Rs102.63 and Rs94.24, while in Kolkata, they are Rs106.03 and Rs92.76.

On May 21, when Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a reduction in excise duty on petrol of Rs8 per liter and on diesel of Rs6 per liter, there was the last nationwide adjustment of fuel prices.
