Blinkit, a company owned by Zomato, stated that it would send printouts to users’ doorsteps in 11 minutes. This move will be helpful for both parents and working adults.
.
The 10-minute delivery platform, which Zomato purchased for Rs 4,447 crore (about $568 million), is now available in select areas.
Jitesh Goel, product manager at Blinkit, stated, “I have never had a printer at home and getting it from a cyber cafe, library, neighbor, or office has always been tedious, especially when it’s needed at the point of approaching deadlines.”
.
The platform’s new offering debuts as Zomato prepares to test out cross-leveraging with Blinkit and its user base for Zomato.
The company claims that Blinkit’s monthly losses are decreasing, having dropped from Rs 2,040 million (about $26 million) in January 2022 to Rs 929 million ($12 million) in July.
.
Blinkit has also closed down a handful of unprofitable dark stores that were not scaling, according to the company, and the team will continue to assess underperforming stores.
.
The Blinkit company has expanded to 20% of Zomato’s food delivery gross order value (GOV) in just six months while operating in less.
