quant Business Cycle Fund NFO: All you need to know

Quant Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “sectoral fund category”, named as quant Business Cycle Fund. This open-ended fund of fund seeks to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing with focus on riding business cycles through allocation between sectors and stocks at different stages of business cycles.

Investment strategy: The Scheme shall not invest more than 10 per cent of its NAV in the equity shares or equity related instruments of any company. All investments by the Scheme in equity shares and equity related instruments shall only be made provided such securities are listed or to be listed.

Asset allocation: The corpus of the Scheme, subject to the enabling provisions of asset allocation pattern, will be invested in securities/ instruments which will include equity and equity related instruments, futures, options, debt and money market instruments.

Who should invest?

Investors with very high risk appetite and want to invest for 7 to 10 years in a mutual fund should invest in quant Business Cycle Fund. 

Risk associated: Very high level of risk.

Benchmark: Nifty 500 TRI.

The NFO is available for subscription from May 12 to May 25. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5000/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
