Quick Wrap: Nifty Financial Services Index falls 2.24%, NIFTY Crashes 1.68%

Nifty Financial Services index closed down 2.24% at 15847.3 today. The index has slipped 1.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd dropped 3.94%, Bajaj Finance Ltd slipped 3.92% and Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd fell 3.82%. The Nifty Financial Services index has fallen 5.00% over last one year compared to the 2.95% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty IT index has dropped 2.17% and Nifty Services Sector index is down 2.12% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 is down 1.68% to close at 16201.8 while the SENSEX has slid 1.84% to close at 54303.44 today.Powered by Capital Market – Live News
