Reliance Consumer introduces new line of home and personal care products

On Wednesday, Reliance Consumer Products (RCPL), which is the FMCG division of Reliance Retail Ventures (RRVL) and is wholly owned by it, unveiled its latest move to widen its FMCG portfolio. The company has introduced a new line-up of home and personal care products.

Glimmer beauty soap, Get Real natural soap, Puric hygiene soap (all priced at Rs 25 for 100 gm bars), Dozo dishwash bars (in refill packs priced at Rs 1, Rs 10, Rs 30, and Rs 45 and Rs 45 bottle), HomeGuard toilet and floor cleaners, and Enzo laundry detergent powder, liquid, and bars are among the new products.

According to a spokesperson from RCPL, while launching the new product range, the company has taken into account the requirements of the ‘actual Indians’. The products will be made available through general trade, including local Kirana stores. The spokesperson further added that the main attraction of the products will be their superior quality at a reasonable price point.

The soaps will be available in a variety of fragrances and variations. Glimmer, for example, will be available in rose, jasmine, lavender, and floral burst scents; Get Real will include sandalwood, neem, and mixed herbs; and Puric will include active power and turmeric aloe.

The company has set ambitious goals for omnichannel distribution throughout the country. RRVL runs an integrated network of 17,225 stores and digital commerce platforms that cover a wide range of categories, including grocery, consumer electronics, fashion & lifestyle, and pharma consumption baskets.

The company has also collaborated with over 2 million merchants via its new commerce initiative.
