Reliance Jio rolls out 5G in 10 more cities

Today, Reliance Jio announced the launch of its True 5G services in ten cities: Agra, Kanpur, Meerut, Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh), Tirupati, Nellore (Andhra Pradesh), Kozhikode, Thrissur (Kerala), Nagpur, and Ahmednagar (Maharashtra). 

Reliance Jio is the first and only operator to offer 5G services in the majority of these cities.

Starting today, Jio users in these cities will be invited to take advantage of the Jio Welcome Offer, which includes unlimited data at speeds of up to 1 Gbps+ at no extra cost.

‘We are delighted to roll out Jio True 5G services in these 10 cities across four states,’ commented a Jio spokesperson. We have increased the speed and intensity of True 5G rollout across the country because we want every Jio user to benefit from the transformational benefits of Jio True 5G technology in 2023, he added.

These newly launched True 5G cities are important tourism and commercial destinations, as well as important educational hubs in our country. 

With the launch of Jio’s True 5G services, consumers in the region will not only get the best telecommunication network, but also limitless growth opportunities in e-governance, education, automation, AI, gaming, healthcare, agriculture, IT, and SMEs, stated the company in its media release.
