Reliance Jio rolls out True 5G in another 34 cities

Reliance Jio today announced the expansion of its True 5G services to 34 new cities. Jio users in 225 cities can now enjoy Jio True 5G services as a result of this.

Reliance Jio is the first and only operator to launch 5G services in the majority of these cities. Starting today, Jio users in these cities will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer, which will provide them with Unlimited Data at speeds of up to 1 Gbps+ at no extra cost, said Jio in its exchange filing.

Jio 5G services have been launched in cities Ananthapuramu, Bhimavaram, Chirala, Guntakal, Nandyal, Tenali, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Tezpur, Gaya, Ambikapur, Dhamtari, Thanesar, Yamunanagar, Chitradurga, Jalgaon, Latur, Balangir, Nalco, Kancheepuram, Thanjavur, Jalandhar, Phagwara, Ajmer, Cuddalore, Dindigul, Karur, Kumbakonam, Mahabubnagar, Nagercoil, Tiruvannamalai, Adilabad, Ramagundam, and Mathura.

As per Jio, True-5G has three-fold advantages that include, Stand-alone 5G architecture with no reliance on the 4G network, Carrier Aggregation is a technology that seamlessly combines these 5G frequencies into a single robust ‘data highway’ using advanced technology, and the most extensive and best mix of 5G spectrum across 700 MHz, 3500 MHz, and 26 GHz bands.
