Sagar Cements Limited informed the exchanges that Jajpur Cements Private Limited, one of its wholly-owned subsidiaries, commenced its grinding operations from Monday at its newly implemented 1.5-million-ton grinding plant at Kalinganagar Industrial Complex, Danagadi Tehsil, Jajpur District in Odisha.
The cement company said that the plant in Jajpur commenced operations in the presence of Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik, who graced the occasion through virtual mode.
At around 11.08 am, Sagar Cements Ltd was trading at Rs275 per piece up by Rs3.75 or 1.38% from its previous closing of Rs271.25 per piece on the BSE.
