As per the reports, two entities sold a 14% stake in auto component manufacturer Sansera Engineering for Rs 622 crore on Thursday, in open market transactions.
Shares were picked up by ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund (MF), SBI Life Insurance Company, Societe Generale, Kotak Mahindra MF, International Monetary Fund, and Public Sector Pension Investment Board, among others.
The two companies that sold a 14% stake in Bengaluru-based Sansera Engineering are identified as Client Ebene and CVCIGP II Employee Ebene.
According to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) block deal data, Client Ebene and CVCIGP II Employee Ebene sold a total of 74,53,272 shares, representing a 9% and 5% stake in Sansera Engineering, respectively.
The two companies disposed off the shares at an average price of Rs 835 per piece, aggregating to a transaction size of Rs 622.35 crore.
Following the latest transaction, Client Ebene’s and CVCIGP II Employee Ebene’s shareholdings have decreased to 9.05% and 5.11%, respectively, from 18.05% and 10.11% at the end of March.
At around 3.08 PM, Sansera Engineering’s counter was trading at Rs 861, down by 1.20%, against the previous close of Rs 871.70 on NSE. The counter touched an intraday high and low of Rs 874.30 and Rs 855 respectively.
