Sensex and Nifty in Green on November 5, 2024

Indian Benchmark Index Sensex and Nifty are currently trading in green. At the time of writing at 2:00 pm on 5 Nov, 2024, Sensex is trading at 79,154, higher by 0.47% or 372 points compared to previous close. Currently, Nifty is trading at 24,124 with a gain of 128 points or 0.54% against the previous close. In the NSE, 1567 stocks advance,902 stocks fall.

Sensex gainers include JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Axis Bank, SBI. Bharti Airtel, ITC, Asian Paints, Tech mahindra are among the top losers in Sensex. Nifty gainers include JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Hindalco, Bajaj Auto. Whereas Adani ports, Coal India, Trent, Bharti Airtel are the Top losers in Nifty.

Among the broader markets, the BSE Midcap index is trading 0.11% higher and BSE SmallCap Index is trading 0.36% higher.
