Sensex and Nifty Show Resilience, Bajaj Auto Hits 52-week High

Sensex gained 158.05 points or 0.23%, reaching 67,677.05, while Nifty increased by 46.70 points or 0.23%, touching 20,149.80.  In the market, 1630 shares advanced, 1399 shares declined, and 95 shares remained unchanged.

Top gainers include Vodafone Idea (7.34%), Bajaj Auto (5.28%), ICICI Prudential (3.34%), and Indus Towers (3.05%). Leading decliners include Interglobe Aviation (-3.15%), IOC (-2.75%), Hindustan Petroleum (-2.32%), and Sun TV Network (-1.89%).

Bajaj Auto shares surged 5% to reach their 52-week high of Rs 5,084 on the NSE, following a stock upgrade by BofA.
