Seshasayee Paper and Boards to acquire assets of Servalakshmi Paper

Seshasayee Paper and Boards Limited stocks in focus as the company has emerged as the successful bidder in the e-auction held on Tuesday for the acquisition of the assets (Land, Building and Plant and Machinery) of Servalakshmi Paper Limited (Corporate Debtor – In Liquidation), on liquidation on a Going Concern basis.

At around 9:44 AM, Seshasayee Paper & Boards Ltd is currently trading at Rs299 per share down by Rs3.5 or 1.16% from its previous closing of Rs302.50 per share on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs303 per share and has touched a high and low of Rs303.75 per share and Rs299 per share respectively so far today. The current market cap of the company is Rs1,907.81 crore.

Seshasayee Paper and Boards Limited is engaged in the business of manufacture and sale of printing and writing paper. It owns and operates integrated pulp, paper and paper board Mill at Pallipalayam, Erode, District Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, India and paper mill at Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu, India.
