SML Isuzu's passenger vehicle sales surge by 154% in January 2022

SML Isuzu Ltd. disclosed its sales for the month of January 2022, which picked up after covid strains, during the period.

The company has reported sales for the Cargo vehicles for January 2022 at 477 units, against 483 units for the corresponding period, down by 1% YoY. While YTD Sales (April-January 2022) stood at 4,035 units against 2,641 units, reflecting a growth of 53% YoY.

SML Isuzu reported its passenger vehicles sales at 132 units during January 2022 as against 52 units in the same month last year, registering a growth of 154% YoY. While YTD sales (April-January 2022) stood at 1280 units, as compared to 690 for the comparative period, up by 86% YoY.

SML Isuzu closed at Rs 643.95, marginally up against its previous closing price of Rs 642.40. Its scrip touched an intraday high and low of Rs 664 and Rs 637.25 respectively.
