Sterlite Power has announced securing new orders worth Rs 1,400 crore during the quarter ended March 31, 2023. The orders were obtained from both domestic and international markets, contributing to the strengthening of Sterlite Power’s solutions business unit’s order book for FY23, which now stands at Rs 5,200 crore.
The newly acquired orders primarily focus on Sterlite Power’s solutions business, which includes products and specialized EPC services. Notable orders include the upgradation/uprating of PowerGrid Corporation’s 400 kV Jharsuguda/Sundargarh – Rourkela transmission line and the construction of 220kV double circuit transmission lines for Serentica Renewables.
Sterlite Power has also secured orders for conductors and OPGW from renowned customers in the SAARC region, including PowerGrid Corporation of Bangladesh’s river crossing project. Additionally, the company received repeat orders from the USA and the ‘LATAM region.’
Orders were received for supplying products for Tata Power’s NRSS XXXVI project, L&T’s 400KV Wayanad-Kasargode transmission line, L&T’s 765 kV Navasari Padghe transmission corridor, and MTCIL’s (Maharashtra Transmission Communication Infrastructure Ltd) 132kV, 220kV, and 400kV transmission lines.
