Here is the important stock market news to watch out for today.

• Markets to open on a positive note; support @17,350, resistance at 17,800.
• FIIs bought shares worth Rs902.64cr (cash), bought Rs803.11cr in index futures.
• US markets closed higher. Asian Markets opened in the green.
• Brent crude was trading 0.04% higher at $79.01 per barrel.
• Inox Wind: The Company’s material subsidiary, Inox Green Energy Services Limited (IGESL) (earlier known as Inox Wind Infrastructure Services Limited) has entered into a Business Transfer Agreement (BTA) to transfer its Erection, Procurement and Commissioning (EPC) of Wind Turbine Generators Business, on a slump sale basis, to its fellow subsidiary, Resco Global Wind Services Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.
• GAIL pays first Interim Dividend of Rs.4 per Equity Share for FY 2021-22.
• HDFC: Loans sold in the preceding 12 months amounted to Rs27,591cr (Previous Year: Rs16,956cr). Gross income from dividend for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 was Rs195cr (PY: ~ Rs2cr).
• Maruti Suzuki India Limited announced that it has exported 205,450 vehicles in CY 2021. This is the highest ever export figure in any calendar year by the Company
• Tata Power: Sanjeev Churiwala joins Tata Power, one of India’s largest integrated power companies, as the new Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1st January, 2022. Ramesh Subramanyam, the erstwhile CFO is moving into a new role within the Tata Group.
• Dilip Buildcon: The Company has received LOA for OB Removal Contract Mining work for Amadand OCP, Jamuna Kotma Area, Tehsil- Kotma, Distt.- Annupur in the State of Madhya Pradesh valued at Rs. 2683.02 Crores (Including GST) by the South Eastern Coalfield Limited (SECL), A subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL).
• Karnataka Bank: The Bank’s CASA deposits grew by 10.59% Year on Year while sequential growth over September 2021 is at 3.35%. The Gross Advances grew by 4.87% Year on Year while sequential growth over September 2021 is at 1.90%.
• Indo Thai Securities Limited has incorporated a subsidiary in the name of Femto Green Hydrogen Limited. Femto Green Hydrogen Limited is developing a kind of revolutionary de- carbonization technique aiming to aid eradication and reduction of Global warming caused due to various means of surface transport.
• Dynemic Products: The company had started Commercial production from 03.01.2022 for Dye Intermediates Plant at its manufacturing unit situated at Dahej, Gujarat.
• Bajaj Electricals: The company’s board has considered and approved the proposal for permanent closure of operations at the aforesaid Shikohabad Unit.
