Tata Elxsi and Ateme Collaborate to Expedite Deployment of FAST Channels

Tata Elxsi, a global leader in product engineering and design services, has joined forces with Ateme, a global leader in video compression and streaming solutions, to offer a pre-integrated solution for Free Ad-Supported Television (FAST) channel deployment. This collaboration combines Tata Elxsi’s OTT delivery platform, TEPlay, with Ateme’s NEA Server-Side Ad Insertion (SSAI) solution, enabling linear TV providers to transition seamlessly from satellite-only services to streaming platforms. 

By incorporating FAST services, existing SVOD players can expand their user base and revenue streams. This partnership aims to expedite the launch of FAST channels for content and service providers, improve viewer satisfaction, and maximize return on investment. The pre-integrated FAST solution supports leading direct and programmatic ad delivery platforms, enabling the swift introduction of ad-based services to generate new revenue streams. 

Additionally, the joint solution prioritizes viewer experience, offering an intuitive UI/UX and AI-driven personalization, search, and content discovery through Tata Elxsi’s Design Digital proposition.
