Tata Steel's stock price up by 6% in the past 4 days

In the declining market on Friday, Tata Steel shares increased 1% to a more than three-month high of Rs 111.60 on the BSE. The stock’s price was at its highest point since August 19, 2022. In contrast, at 11:48 am, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 0.82 percent at 62,764.

The Tata Group Iron & Steel Company’s stock was up for the fourth straight day and had increased by 6% since the previous day. It has increased 10% over the past month compared to a 3% increase in the benchmark index. Tata Steel, on the other hand, underperformed the market and its rivals over the past six months, rising only 3% on the back of dismal profits, vs. a Sensex advance of 12% over that time. While JSW Steel (up 29%) and Jindal Steel & Power (up 49%) have both achieved an

increased market value of over 25% during the same period.
