The company has been a Zurich Insurance Germany partner since 2016, collaborating on important business initiatives in general insurance, customer and sales, and life legacy portfolios.
It will assist the insurer in modernising, transforming, and managing the entire application estate supporting its life insurance business; improving and standardising IT and business processes; accelerating cloud and digital adoption; and driving technical and domain innovation at scale through the expanded strategic partnership.
TCS will also use its innovation centres and expertise to assist Zurich in rapidly scaling its innovation activities and launching new digital services and products. It will assist Zurich in adopting a new IT operating model based on DevSecOps and automation. This will allow the insurer to bring innovations to market more quickly and improve the digital client journey.
The company will also collaborate closely with Zurich IT in joint agile teams to strengthen internal IT core competencies using TCS’ Talent Transformation methodology.
