Texmaco Rail -; Engineering bags order worth Rs6,450 crore for 20,067 wagons; Stock rises 3%

Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd stocks rally despite Thursday’s bearish market session after the announcement of receipt of work order.

As per the filing, the Company has received an order for 20,067 wagons valuing Rs6,450 crore approx. (to be executed over a period of thirty-nine months) against the recent Railway tender for wagons issued by the Indian Railways.

At around 11:43 AM, Texmaco Rail & Engineering was trading at Rs48.30 apiece up by Rs1.5 or 3.21% from its previous closing of Rs46.80 apiece on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs46.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs48.75 and Rs46.05 respectively so far today. The current market cap of the company is Rs1,506.35cr.
