Titagarh Wagons names Prithish Chowdhary as Marketing -; Business Development Director; stock gains ~1%

Titagarh Wagons Limited informed that the Board of Directors has appointed Prithish Chowdhary as a Whole-time Director of the Company designated as Director (Marketing & Business Development) with effect from August 13, 2022.

Since his appointment to the Titagarh Board of Directors as a Non-Executive Director on January 1, 2021, the Company has experienced rapid growth and built up a robust order book in all of its verticals, namely Freight Rolling Stock, Passenger Rolling Stock, Shipbuilding, Bridges, and Defence, necessitating the appointment of a Whole-time Director to augment the growth momentum.

Prithish is well-suited to contribute effectively to Titagarh’s mission and vision, as he possesses skills in relationship-building across clientele including Government and private sector customers, business origination across all verticals, and coordination with production and design departments to customize the ever-changing specifications of the clientele.

Following the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC), the Board decided to capitalize on Shri Prithish Chowdhary’s potential and changed his designation to Director (Marketing & Business Development) so that he could be able to devote his full time and attention to the Company’s rapidly expanding business activities.

At around 1.22 PM, Titagarh Wagons was trading at Rs137 up by 0.33% from its previous closing of Rs136.55 on the BSE. The scrip touched intraday high and low of Rs139.15 and Rs134.25 respectively.
