Here are some of the stocks that may see significant price movement today.

Ultratech Cement: The country’s largest cement business has engaged into a Share Subscription and Shareholders Agreement to purchase 26% of Clean Max Terra’s equity shares for Rs 20.25 crore. The acquisition is intended to fulfil the company’s green energy requirements while also lowering energy expenses and meeting regulatory criteria for captive power use under electricity legislation.

ICICI Bank: The Reserve Bank of India has accepted Sandeep Batra’s reappointment as Executive Director of the bank from December 23, 2023 to December 22, 2025. This two-year extension is within the five-year period already granted by the shareholders.

Inox India (INOXCVA): The cryogenic tank manufacturer will float its equity shares on the BSE and NSE. The final issue price of Rs 660 per share has been set. Analysts predict that the listing premium will be 75-80% of the issue price.

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders: The state-owned shipbuilding business has inked a Rs 1,600 crore deal with the Ministry of Defence’s Acquisition Wing for the construction and delivery of six next-generation offshore patrol vessels (NGOPVs) for the Indian Coast Guard (ICG).

BSE: The SEBI has approved Pramod Agrawal’s appointment as Chairman of the Governing Board of the stock market, effective January 17, 2024. The tenure of S. S. Mundra, Chairman and Public Interest Director, will expire on January 16, 2024.

Cochin Shipyard: The public sector undertaking (PSU) has entered into a contract with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Rs 488.25 crore. The work package comprises the repair and maintenance of the naval vessel’s equipment and systems. Based on the Approval of Necessity (AoN) from the MoD, work on the project began in Q2FY24 and is projected to be completed by Q1FY25.

Karur Vysya Bank: Effective January 3, 2024, Rajesh E. T., the current Chief of Internal Vigilance, has been reassigned to the Inspection and Audit Department to supervise and develop the department’s software systems. As a result, Ajin Raj will take over as the bank’s Chief of Internal Vigilance on January 3, 2024. Furthermore, the bank has opted to surrender its merchant banker registration certificate.

Embassy Office Parks REIT: Blackstone sold its whole 23.5% share in Embassy REIT for around Rs 7,100 crore to various global and local investors for Rs 316 each. Multiple investors purchased around 19 crore REIT units at an average price of Rs 316 each.

Allcargo Logistics: LCL (less-than-container load) volume fell 0.35% in November 2023 compared to November 2022 and stayed constant (increased 0.11%) compared to October 2023. The volume includes a 1.5% contribution from the new acquisition in Germany beginning in January 2023.

Nippon Life India AMC: IndusInd Bank raised Rs 795.27 crore by selling 1,78,57,355 equity shares, or 2.86% stake in Nippon Life AMC, at Rs 445.35 a share. SBI Mutual Fund paid Rs 145.6 crore for 32,68,590 equity shares at the same price, while ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund paid Rs 209.4 crore for 47,01,405 equity shares at the same price.
