Here are some of the stocks that may see significant price movement today.

Medi Assist: Bessemer India has initiated a block deal with the company. The sale is estimated to be worth ₹540.94 crore, with shares priced at ₹570 per share, according to numerous sources. This pricing represents a 7.7% discount from Medi Assist’s most recent closing price.

Matrimony.com: The matchmaking service provider stated that it will evaluate a proposal for an equity share buyback on September 5, 2024.

Welspun Corp: The business announced that its board of directors has approved an expenditure of roughly $100 Million to expand the high-frequency induction welding (HFIW) pipe manufacturing and coating capabilities of its 100% subsidiary, Welspun Pipes Inc, in the United States.

NMDC: The state-owned corporation announced provisional production and sales numbers for August 2024, suggesting a year-on-year drop in both parameters. The company recorded a 10% year-on-year decrease in iron ore output for August 2024, totalling 3.07 MT versus 3.41 MT in the same month last year.

Maruti Suzuki: The country’s largest automaker recorded a 2.2% year-on-year (YoY) increase in total production in August 2024, with output climbing to 1.69 lakh units from 1.65 lakh in August 2023. This comes after the company announced a 3.9% year-on-year fall in overall sales for August 2024.

IEX: The company announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary has entered into an “issuer agreement” with the International Tracking Standard Foundation (I-TRACK Foundation) and Evident EV Ltd. This agreement authorises ICX to function as a local issuer of international renewable energy certificates (I-RECs) in the Indian market.

Vedanta: Anil Agarwal-owned mining company announced its third interim dividend of ₹20 per share after a board meeting on Monday. The company previously issued two interim dividends of ₹11 and ₹4 per share earlier this year.

Adani Green: The company announced that its board has approved the signing of binding pacts, including a joint venture agreement, with Adani Renewable Energy Sixty Four Limited (ARE64L) and TotalEnergies Renewables Singapore Pte Limited (TotalEnergies).

Gensol Engineering: Homegrown firm said that it, in partnership with Matrix Gas & Renewables Ltd, has emerged as the lowest bidder for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of India’s first bio-hydrogen project for India’s biggest power production company.

Lemon Tree Hotels: The hospitality company has announced the signing of its latest property, the Lemon Tree Hotel in Gir, Gujarat. The Carnation Hotels Private Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd, will manage the said property. The new facility is set to open in fiscal year 2030.
