  1. Adani Enterprises: On Thursday, Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) announced a notable 44% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit, reaching Rs 674 crore for the first quarter ending on June 30, 2023.
  2. Zomato: Zomato has announced its maiden profit of Rs 2 crore for the quarter ending in June, accompanied by a significant 71% year-on-year surge in revenue.
  3. Torrent Power: Torrent Power, via its subsidiary, has forged a power transfer agreement with subsidiaries of Shapoorji Pallonji. The agreement pertains to the supply of 132 MW of solar power to cater to the energy requirements of Torrent Power’s desalination plants located in Gujarat.
  4. Airtel: In the first quarter ending on June 30, 2023, the telecom operator posted a steady net profit of Rs 1,612.5 crore. Meanwhile, the total revenue for the reviewed period reached Rs 37,440 crore, indicating a growth of 14.1% compared to the Rs 32,805 crore recorded in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
  5. Maruti Suzuki: The leading car manufacturer in the country has announced that its board of directors will convene on August 8 to deliberate on the method for fulfilling the payment for the acquisition of the complete equity stake (100%) of Suzuki Motor Corporation in Suzuki Motor Gujarat.
  6. Eicher Motors: Eicher Motors has posted an impressive 50% surge in its profit for the June quarter, amounting to Rs 918 crore.
  7. Cummins: Cummins India has reported a net profit of Rs 316 crore in the first quarter, while its revenue from operations for the same period stood at Rs 2,208 crore.
  8. Vedanta: Twin Star has divested 15.4 crore shares, representing a 4.14% stake in the company, through bulk deals executed on Thursday.
  9. Adani Power: Adani Power has posted a consolidated profit of Rs 8,759 crore, marking an impressive 83% increase for the quarter concluding in June 2023. However, there was a 20% decrease in revenue from operations, which amounted to Rs 11,005 crore.
  10. LIC Housing Finance: LIC Housing Finance has disclosed a net profit of Rs 1,324 crore for the first quarter, with Net Interest Income (NII) amounting to Rs 2,252 crore.
