Top companies lost around Rs 78,163 crore in market capitalization, last week

Six of the ten most valuable domestic companies had their total market values decline by Rs 78,163 crore last week, with Reliance Industries suffering the greatest loss. The 30-share BSE Sensex dropped 271.32 points, or 0.46 %, last week.

TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys, and HDFC emerged as the winners, while Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, HUL, Bajaj Finance, and SBI suffered a decline in their worth. The aggregate profit of the four businesses, at Rs 30,467.03 crore, was lower than the combined loss of the six businesses.

Reliance Industries, an index heavyweight, saw an Rs42,113.47 crore drop in market value, dropping to Rs16,04,069.19 crore.  Bharti Airtel experienced a loss of Rs15,159.81 crore, down to Rs4,26,226.99 Crore.

Bharti Airtel experienced a loss of Rs15,159.81 crore, down to Rs4,26,226.99 Crore. ICICI Bank’s market capitalization (mcap) decreased by Rs8,272.37 crore to Rs6,06,317.50 crore, while Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (HULmcap )’s dropped by Rs5,404.06 crore to Rs6,05,219.47 crore.

State Bank of India’s (SBI) value decreased by Rs 2,945.12 crore to Rs 4,70,371.66 crore, while Bajaj Finance’s valuation fell by Rs 4,268.28 crore to Rs 4,40,295.38 crore. TCS increased its valuation to Rs11,33,446.05 crore by adding Rs11,965 crore from the gainers’ pack.

The mcap of Infosys increased by Rs9,383.46 crore to Rs6,20,254.82 crore. The valuations of HDFC Bank and HDFC increased by Rs5,792.76 crore and Rs3,325.71 crore, respectively, to reach Rs8,02,686.8 crore and Rs4,26,135.93 crore respectively.

Reliance Industries remained at the top of the list of the most valuable Indian companies, followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys, ICICI Bank, HUL, SBI, Bajaj Finance, Bharti Airtel, and HDFC.
