Adani Power: The company announced that it has bagged a contract to supply 1,500 MW of thermal power to Uttar Pradesh. The contract is received at a levelised tariff of ₹5.383 per unit. The company has emerged as the lowest bidder in the competitive bidding. The power will be supplied from a greenfield ultra-supercritical thermal power plant.
Dr Reddy’s Laboratories: The drug-maker reported a net profit of ₹1,594 Crore for the quarter ended March 2025. The company logged a growth of 22% on a year-on-year basis as compared to ₹1,307 Crore in the same quarter of previous year.
Bank of India: The bank reported its Q4 net profit at ₹2,626 Crore, against ₹1,439 Crore in Q4FY25. It logged a growth of 82.5% on a year-on-year basis. The bank said that its Net Interest Income jumped marginally by 2.10% to ₹6,063 Crore.
Birla Corp: The business reported a 32.80% year-on-year basis growth in its net profit to ₹256.60 Crore. In the previous corresponding period, the company reported a net profit of ₹193.30 Crore. Its revenue from operations jumped 6.10% year-on-year to ₹2,815 Crore in the quarter under review.
NTPC Green Energy: The renewable energy business said that it has appointed Sarit Maheshwari as Chief Executive Officer and Key Managerial Personnel. His appointment shall be effective May 10, 2025.
