Toyota Launches Feature-Rich Rumion MPV Starting at Rs 10.29 Lakh

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has introduced the Rumion MPV, a new multi-purpose vehicle designed for families. The 7-seater Rumion is priced at a starting rate of Rs 10.29 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base S variant.

Bookings for the Rumion are now open, with a reservation fee of Rs 11,000; deliveries will begin on September 8. Variant options include S MT Petrol (Rs 10.29 lakh), S AT Petrol (Rs 11.89 lakh), G MT Petrol (Rs 11.45 lakh), V MT Petrol (Rs 12.18 lakh), V AT Petrol (Rs 13.68 lakh), and S MT (CNG) (Rs 11.24 lakh).

Atul Sood, VP – Of sales and Strategic Marketing, TKM, emphasized the Rumion’s space, features, and performance, expecting it to become a top choice for families. The Rumion’s launch marks Toyota’s entry into India’s B-segment MPV market, bolstering its presence in the MPV segment.

TKM’s strong position in the domestic MPV market is set to strengthen further with the introduction of the Rumion.

Powered by a 1.5-litre K series petrol engine with Neo Drive (ISG) and E-CNG technology, the Rumion offers fuel efficiency of 20.51 km/l (petrol) and 26.11 km/kg (CNG). Transmission options include a 5-speed Manual Transmission and a 6-speed Automatic Transmission.

Toyota’s Rumion MPV aims to cater to families seeking a blend of space, comfort, and advanced features in a competitive package.
