Transformers and Rectifiers Limited informed that it has received orders of Transformers for an aggregate consideration of Rs 134 crore from one of the Central Utility.
The aforementioned orders are within the normal course of business. The company has no interest in the entities that granted the orders, nor does it participate in related party transactions, said the company in its filing with the bourses.
With the receipt of this order, the company’s order book stands at Rs 1,955 crore as of date.
The company said that it strives to provide excellent goods and services on a constant basis and has grown to become the country’s leading transformer maker.
Transformer & Rectifier (India) is a leading producer with three separate manufacturing facilities at Moraiya, Odhav, and Changodar in western India. It is the third largest manufacturer in India with a total installed capacity of 36000 MVA.
At around 12.22 PM, Transformers and Rectifiers was trading 3.60% higher at Rs 90.65, against the previous close of Rs 87.50 on NSE. The counter touched an intraday high of Rs 92.
