TVS Motor Company reports 25% y-o-y growth in sales at 3,01,898 units in December

TVS Motor Company announced a 25% y-o-y increase in overall sales to 3,01,898 units in December 2023 on Monday. In December 2022, the business sold a total of 2,42,012 vehicles, according to a statement from TVS Motor Company.

Two-wheeler sales in December 2023 were 2,90,064 units, up 27% y-o-y from 2,27,666 units in the same month of the previous year, according to the report. Domestic two-wheeler sales increased by 33% y-o-y to 2,14,988 units in December 2023, up from 1,61,369 units in December 2022.

Motorcycle sales increased by 19% y-o-y last month to 1,48,049 units, up from 1,24,705 units in December 2022, while scooter sales increased by 34% y-o-y to 1,03,167 units, up from 76,766 units in the previous month.

TVS Motor Co says it sold 11,232 iQube electric scooters in December 2023, up from 11,071 in the same month last year. It noted that three-wheeler sales were 11,834 units last month, compared to 14,346 units in December 2022.

According to the corporation, total exports in December 2023 were 85,391 units, up from 79,402 units in the same month of the previous year.
