TVS Motors logs 5% y-o-y growth in 2-wheeler sales in August 2023

TVS Motor reported a 4% y-o-y increase in sales in August 2023, with 345,848 units sold against 333,787 units sold in the same period last year.

The overall two-wheeler sales increased by 5%, with sales of 332,110 units in August 2023, up from 315,539 units in the same period last year.

Domestic two-wheeler sales increased by 7% in August 2023, with 256,619 units sold compared to 239,325 units sold in the same period of the previous year.

Motorcycles sold 153,047 units in August 2023, compared to 157,118 units in the same period of the previous year. Scooter sales increased by 17% y-o-y in August 2023, with 142,502 units sold compared to 121,866 units sold in the same month last year. 

TVS iQube Electric sold 23,887 units in August 2023, compared to 4,418 units in August 2022. In August 2023, three-wheelers (3W) sold 13,738 units compared to 18,248 units.
