US Motor Gasoline Product Supplies Down 3% In Last Four Weeks

EIA noted in a latest update that total fuel products supplied over the last four-week period averaged 19.5 million barrels a day, up by 3.0% from the same period last year. Over the past four weeks, motor gasoline product supplied averaged 8.9 million barrels a day, down by 3.1% from the same period last year. Distillate fuel product supplied averaged 3.9 million barrels a day over the past four weeks, down by 5.4% from the same period last year. Jet fuel product supplied was up 19.0% compared with the same four-week period last year. The US crude oil refinery inputs averaged 16.0 million barrels per day during the week ending May 27, 2022 which was 236,000 barrels per day less than the previous week’s average. Refineries operated at 92.6% of their operable capacity last week. Gasoline production increased last week, averaging 10.0 million barrels per day. Distillate fuel production decreased last week, averaging 5.0 million barrels per day.Powered by Commodity Insights
