UTDB and IRCTC Team Up for Special Tourist Trains in Uttarakhand's Hidden Gems

Uttarakhand Tourism Department partners with IRCTC for unique tourist train experience. Collaboration aims to showcase undiscovered destinations in Uttarakhand, shedding light on lesser-known places.

UTDB and IRCTC launch special Tourist Train from various parts of the country. First train focuses on Manas Khand Mandir Mala Mission sites, earmarked for development by Uttarakhand government.

16 temples in the Kumaon division identified for improved facilities and transportation. Inaugural journey under Manas Khand Mandir Mala Mission scheduled for April 15th, 2024.

Exclusive train, equipped with 2AC coaches, to accommodate up to 500 guests per trip. IRCTC to manage end-to-end services, including onboard meals, accommodation, transportation, and sightseeing.

Future plans include extending train service from different parts of the country to promote destinations like Kartik Swami Temple and Jagannath Temple.

Uttarakhand Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj praises the initiative as a significant step towards promoting tourism in lesser-known areas.

The stock touched a 52-week high of 1,049.75 on January 23, 2024, and a 52-week low of 557.15 on March 29, 2023. The stock is currently trading 9.36% below its 52-week high and 70.78% above its 52-week low.
